Prior to turning pro in 2005, Ryan Moore had a successful collegiate and amateur golf career. He lettered at UNLV for four seasons before graduating in 2005 with a degree in communications and public relations. In 2004, he had one of the most impressive amateur golf seasons on record – capturing multiple titles including the US Amateur, the US Amateur Public Links, and the NCAA individual championship. It seemed like destiny. Moore notes that he learned to love golf from his father “before I could walk.”
